The Rewarder

Hebrews 11:6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

When I was a child in school my father rewarded me with a dime for every A I got on my report card. Report cards came out every 6 weeks. Back then we had eight subjects. I seldom got an A in music but I would usually get an A in six or seven of the other subjects. When I got sixty or seventy cents I thought I was wealthy. I did a lot of that studying and applying myself because I believed that my father was a rewarder. My father always came through. He really was a rewarder.

What do you believe about God? Do you believe that He is a Rewarder? A lot of people believe that He is a Collector. They believe that if we get close to Him or obey Him He will collect things from them that they need. They believe that He will take good things from them. Those are lies from the pit of Hell. Those lies are intended to keep us from trusting Him and getting all that He has for us.

Philippians 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalms 84:11: For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
